We also recognize that diversity of thought and expression is integral to developing learners who are culturally agile, 善于批判性思考, and effective when collaborating with others.

As it has been for more than 200 years, the foundation of an Albany Academies’ education is high expectations with rigorous academics and appropriate social and emotional supports. We understand how gender differences impact learning at every age level and provide 学生 with classroom settings that reflect this understanding. Every student is treated as the individual that they are, while simultaneously being assimilated into an 包容, 安全, 学习环境. As a community of 学生 and educators, we reflect upon our privilege and assess our curriculum, 实践, and outcomes to ensure we are continuously developing a 多样化的, 公平的, 包容的社区.

    Stephanie Bramlett is the inaugural Director of 股本 and Inclusion at Phillips Exeter Academy. She works with every constituency group at PEA-- all employees, 学生, 父母, 受托人, 校友, 以及更广泛的埃克塞特社区. Stephanie is the head of the summer Exeter Diversity Institute and is a board member of the New England chapter of People of Color in Independent Schools.
